Over 170 golfers filled the fairways on June 10 at the Chamber’s Annual Golf Classic held at Green Garden Country Club in Frankfort, Illinois. Homewood Disposal Service, Inc. sponsored the event for the fourteenth consecutive year.

All golfers received complimentary Continental breakfast & Bloody Mary’s on-course lunch, beverages, snacks, door prizes and enjoyed a scrumptious BBQ buffet dinner and libations. 

Many contest prizes were awarded along with raffle prizes that included a Las Vegas trip with airfare, live concert tickets, Cubs & Sox tickets, Golf Bag with Clubs and golf packages.

Most hole sponsors sent company representatives to meet golfers, hand out their promotional items and play games for prizes including hole-in-one prizes at all Par 3s for three cars and other gifts.

"This was another great Southland Chamber event” said golf outing co-chair Mark Fleming of Old Second Bank.  “The golf committee, Chamber staff, event sponsors and volunteers all contributed to making this event a rousing success said fellow co-chair Bob Hennessy of Simborg Industrial Real Estate!”
