The Southland is sure to
please even the most discriminating of shoppers. A wide variety of shopping
pleasures exists in Southland communities from quaint shops, to high-end
boutiques and major shopping mall centers.
Shopping centers in Orland Park, Calumet City, Chicago Ridge, Evergreen Park,
Joliet, Bradley and Matteson provide convenient, high quality, mall-shopping
experiences for the entire region. Many of our downtown fine shops provide that
unique product offering and customer service that is part of suburban shopping
fare. Even the newest areas of our region strive to capture a downtown area
replete with shopping opportunities. Southland residents often grew up in small
towns or neighborhood centers of the city. Therefore they built downtown
experiences in each community of the Southland.

America's GI Town of Park Forest has historical
significance as the first planned suburban community following World War II.
The commercial strip just south of Midway airport on Cicero is booming with new
vitalization not seen since the 1950's. The retro nature of Tinley Park harkens
back to the quaint village it once was but has the latest in modern shopping.
Areas such as downtown Joliet, Lansing, South Holland, Oak Lawn and even our
newest community of Homer Glen all have a unique shopping experience in retail
areas that draw shoppers from the entire region. Even our regional train
stations incorporate unique retail shopping experiences nearby for commuters
coming and going to work each day.
The Southland provides all the variety and quality sought
by today's sophisticated shopper.
