Business Activities
The Business Activities Division
works with staff to coordinate all chamber business, networking and social
activities throughout the year. The Chamber hosts annual and monthly events for
members, which offer the opportunity for business networking. Events include
the Business Expo, Golf Classic, Annual Dinner Meeting, Holiday Sports
Luncheon, Fashion Show, Awards Luncheon, and Business After Hours.
The Business Activities Committees meet the second Tuesday of each month
at 8:30 a.m. at Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce headquarters.

Goal: Improve and maintain quality of Chamber activities and events
designed to increase new business contacts to members and provide improved
information.
Objectives:

Maintain, update and improve the
Chamber's Premier and Gold Sponsor program and Chamber Partners Program.

Produce the Chicago Southland
Business Expo to promote business in the region and showcase products and
services of Chicago Southland businesses.

Host the Chamber's Annual Golf
Classic.

Conduct the Chicago Southland
Chamber of Commerce Annual Recognition Dinner Meeting.

Organize the Chamber's Annual
Holiday Sports Luncheon.

Plan and host the Chamber's
Annual Awards Luncheon.

Host the monthly Regional
Consensus Luncheon series, including networking reception.

Conduct monthly Business After
Hours membership receptions and to promote additional involvement in the
Chamber and to provide new business contacts.

Plan and produce the Chamber's
Annual Fall Fantasy Fashion Show.

Explore the possibility of a
monthly Leads At Lunch program.

Implement and maintain a weekly
"Chamber Newsgram" fax.
