Business Activities
The business development of Chicago’s Southland area is a vital part of the greater Chicago economy. Through the Chamber, you will find means of leveraging social networking tools and other resources to further your own business growth and the economic development of the area. Such opportunities include:
- Member Events
- Community and Networking Information
- Possible Media Coverage for Larger Sponsors
The Business Activities Division works with staff to coordinate all Chamber business, networking and social activities throughout the year. The Chamber hosts annual and monthly events for members, which offer the opportunity for business networking. Events include the Business Expo, Golf Classic, Annual Dinner Meeting, Holiday Sports Luncheon and Business After Hours.
The Business Activities Division contributes to the Chamber’s overall mission by improving and maintaining quality Chamber activities and events that are designed to:
- Increase new business contacts to members
- Provide value to memberships
By doing so we are helping businesses in the Chicago Southland grow.
Business Activities Q&A
Describe the Division in three words. Networking, Social, Growth
What expectations do you have for the Division? This year's goal for Business Activities ties into the Chamber's overall goal for building membership. By building membership and getting those new members involved in these activities, members will all but automatically see the value of their membership by being a part of the great networking opportunities these activities provide.
